WE LOVE HORSES
We love our beautiful Icelandic horses.
As a guest, you have the opportunity to try a tow ride or a longer guided ride on our horses, or if you wish, you can bring your own horses on holiday with us and experience the beautiful area we live in on horseback.
A tow with the forses for the children
You have the opportunity for your child to have a fantastic experience on the back of one of our wonderful horses, either with a guide or you can pull your child yourself.
With a guide, approx. 60 min - DKK 250.
Without a guide, approx. 60 min - DKK 150.
It is necessary to book these trips well in advance.
On a trip in the area on horseback
We are so incredibly privileged to have one of the most beautiful riding areas right in our backyard, and you have the opportunity to experience it with us. Take a ride on one of our Icelandic horses, down the gravel road that meanders through fields, through the forest, where the stream runs alongside the path and down to the beach.
The riding is hilly and therefore requires experience with riding, and to spare our horses, we set a maximum weight of 100kg for the rider.
We currently only have 2 horses, so we only offer trips for 1 person.
Price for a guided tour, approx. 90 minutes DKK 750.

Bring your own horse to Østergaard
We have the option of dividing our horse paddock into 2, so you have the option of bringing your horse to Østergaard.
As a general rule, we cannot provide stables for your horse, but in special circumstances a solution can be found.
You must bring feed for your horse yourself, we only offer space in the paddock, and ad libitum access to fresh water and beautiful riding routes, and you can see your horse from the window in the mini-apartments.
Price per 24 hours for a horse - DKK 300.
