ABOUT US
Welcome to Østergaard
This is a place to slow down. Østergaard is a historic farm with roots dating back to 1688, surrounded by gardens, fields, woodland and water.
During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy the garden and the lake, say hello to the Icelandic horses and follow the avenue through the woods down to the beach.
We hope you enjoy a peaceful, comfortable stay and feel at home while you are here.
THE MINI APARTMENTS
Our mini-apartments are simply and comfortably furnished with a small kitchen with two hobs, a fridge and a mini oven.
There is a dining area, a double bed and a sofa bed. The large bathroom is shared with the neighbouring apartment.

WE OFFER
A small play area
We have a small play area in the backyard that the children can use, we also have a treeswing and a trampoline you can use.
In addition, 2 larger playgrounds within walking distance.
Cleaning
The bathrooms are cleaned daily, and cleaning when your stay ends, is included in the price.
The garden and the horses
The garden, lake and benches are yours to enjoy during your stay. Our Icelandic horses graze beside the garden and are a lovely part of everyday life on the farm.
Please do not feed the horses bread. Feel free to ask us if you would like to say hello or give them a carrot or an apple.
Free Wi-Fi
We have lightning-fast fiber network available.
Padel boards.
We have 2 padel boards that you can rent and take down to the beach and have a nice day with.

Food and restaurants
There are several good places to eat in the area, and Middelfart offers a wide choice of cafés and restaurants.
Feel free to ask us if you would like a recommendation to suit what you are in the mood for.
Groceries
The local grocery store in Asperup is about 500 metres away. For a wider selection, Brenderup is only a few kilometres away and has several shopping options.
You will also find addresses and practical local tips in the apartments.
For children
There is a small play area in the garden, as well as playgrounds within walking distance. For a bigger outing, options include the Nature Centre in Middelfart and Madsby Play Park in Fredericia.

A walk to the beach
Just beside the farm, Lykkegaardsvej begins – a beautiful gravel road winding through the countryside and into the woods, with the stream following the path towards the beach.
It is one of our own favourite walks and well worth taking during your stay.
The courtyard
The cobbled courtyard invites you to relax. Sit outside and enjoy a meal, or unwind with a glass of wine before bed.
